It's Monday morning and I've already rediscovered a lesson in programming that I need to keep in focus:
Working on a feature branch for weeks without integrating it into the master branch is a recipe for disaster. Integrating a feature is wholly distinct from deploying a feature. "Continuous integration" without "continuous deployment" is still another recipe for delayed disaster.
Things that work fine on development sometimes don't stand up to a production environment. Had I just deployed the feature a bit earlier, I would've saved a headache this morning.
